Falling Iguana Theatre is a physical theatre company based out of Toronto, Ontario. Our original productions are collectively created, and feature character-driven stories told largely through movement.
Falling Iguana Theatre would like to acknowledge that the land on which we operate is the traditional unceded territory of the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat. We are honoured and grateful to be able to live, work and create art on these lands.

The 81 Minutes tour fundraiser on March 17th, 2022 was an astounding success! We reached our goal and the number keeps climbing! The performances and readings by the fantastic collaborators were definitely a huge hit and the raffle prizes were won by Jake Martin, Wendy Goff and an anonymous donor.
The donations raised will contribute towards venue rental costs, accommodations for artists, artist fees and transportation fees.

Grid City Magazine review of 81 Minutes

Written by Matt Carter
“Encompassing an astounding spectrum of emotion that includes plenty of comedy and energy, 81 Minutes is a true powerhouse production from start to finish.”
81 Minutes will be the mainstage production for the 2021 NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival in Fredericton, NB.
July 22-25, evening performances and an added matinee at 2pm on Saturday the 24th at the TNB Open Space Theatre
Dawn hasn’t yet cracked on the Boston horizon. It is March 18, 1990, and at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, something is afoot that will go down in history as one of the world’s most successful and notorious art heists. But right now, it is quiet, save for two police officers, heading this way… In this rip-roaring piece of speculative historical dramedy, co-creators Alexa Higgins and Ian Goff invigorate the heist genre with slapstick antics and a constantly shuffling cast of colourful characters. Featuring performances from Jilly Hanson, Neomi Iancu Haliva, Jean-Michel Cliche, Ian Goff, and Alexa Higgins
July 22-25, 7:30 p.m., at Theatre New Brunswick’s Open Space Theatre. Tickets will be available at the door for 20$ regular, 15$ senior/student/underwaged. Limited seating available. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve tickets.
